Care Instructions
Sanitize your cup before first use and before or after each period. You can do this by boiling your cup, wiping with 70% isopropyl alcohol, or using the Saalt Steamer or Saalt Compact Sanitizer.
During your period, you will want to clean your cup at least once every 12 hours. You can do so by rinsing the cup with cold water (to prevent staining) and then washing the cup with hot water and Saalt Wash or another wash that is mild, pH-balanced, fragrance-free, oil-free, and rinses clean with no residue.

Bust Measurement: Wearing a bra with no padding (preferably with an underwire to give the needed lift), measure around the fullest part of your bust. Round the measurement to the nearest inch.

Great fit! I had to retire my previous cup of 7 years and went searching for a better fit. My previous one was slightly too small and would occasionally not seat correctly. The rim of this cup is more flexible than my last one while having a slightly wider diameter, which gives me a suuuuuper good seal. Love my Saalt Cups! I like using the softer one for the most part--I find it more comfortable--but every once in a while I have difficulty getting it to pop open all the way. In those instances I've found it nice to have the firmer version on hand.
I love the angled, larger air holes along the rim. My old Diva cup had tiny, straight air holes that got clogged and were very difficult to clean. The Saalt air holes are much better.
I only wish my Saalt Cups had volume markings on the inside.

I'm 16, and I have been using my saalt cups for at least 3 years. I'm a bigger girl and I had a hard time with my heavy flow, I used to use pads and tampons at the same time for extra protection so I looked for other options. I decided to ask my parents to purchase a small twin cup pack and I'll never go back. It's a great size for me, at first I considered the teen one, but the small works just great for me. When I first got it inserting and taking it out was a real learning curve for me, it took me about 3-4 periods to figure it out, but after getting over the first hurdle it's perfect. I love my cup, I love how easy it is to keep on you with the pouch, I love how it helps with odor and now I almost never have leaking problems. I'm also one of the people who have less cramps because of it! Would definitely recommend to give cups an honest try!

I used to always use tampons for my period. That was always my go to because I was so active when I was younger, so it seemed easiest. I used tampons up until that study came out claiming there were trace amounts of dangerous elements found in the cotton used for many tampons brands- even big brands. This is by far the most comfortable and convenient menstrual product I've ever used. It's more comfortable and holds more flow than a tampon, and I'm not living in fear of leaks like when I use pads.
And all of that is before considering how much peace of mind you get knowing you aren't having to spend money every month on disposable products full of harmful chemicals.
I've been on a mission to convert every one of my menstruating friends since the first day I tried a cup.
I'll be honest, there's definitely a learning curve for inserting a menstrual cup if you've never used one. And taking it out can be intimidating and messy the first couple times (HIGHLY recommend doing it in the shower until you're fully confident). I kept using pads as backup the first couple days when transitioning to cup usage until I was comfy with the suction seal everyone talks about.
But even with those (very slight) difficulties, it's beyond worth trying the cup if you're curious, and saalt in particular has the best bundles and most comfortable fit I've found.
My best advice is to go for it, and don't give up if the first few tries are frustrating. I know all menstrual cup users say the same thing, but it really DOES get easier and suddenly you wonder why you ever put up with disposable products.

I'm glad I got the twin pack because I absolutely love the softer gray cup and if I had gone with the recommendation of getting only the green because it is suggested for beginners, I probably wouldn't have continued use. The gray cup feels like I have nothing in even on my heaviest days. I originally tried the green cup because it's suggested for beginners but I actually found the gray cup easier to use. I've used my cup now for 3 cycles. Not only is it amazing but the twin pack allowed for me to pick a preference. I have mainly used to original cup due to it being easier to pop open. But the soft cup is also extremely comfortable! There was a small learning curve but I got it down! Most definitely will be looking into the steamer next. You should definitely give it a try. Makes periods so much easier, you kinda forget about them. Well is so much more environmentally friendly! <3
