Care Instructions
After use, rinse your Saalt Wear leakproof underwear in cold water to help avoid staining. Then, hand wash or machine wash on cold, preferably in a Saalt Mesh Laundry Bag intended for delicates. You can use detergent but pass on the fabric softener, bleach, or iron to protect the tech. Proudly hang dry—energy efficient and free. We recommend avoiding putting Saalt Wear in the dryer, as high temperatures can degrade the elastics and fabric over time.

Bust Measurement: Wearing a bra with no padding (preferably with an underwire to give the needed lift), measure around the fullest part of your bust. Round the measurement to the nearest inch.

The only thing that has worked for me for not leaking through while sleeping!! I’m fully an adult (size 6) so I got away with ordering the XL - I have 3 pair!!
I'm a S in women's and ordered an XL in these shorts because they have a longer inseam. Great match up on sizing... the leg bands are kind of tight, but I accept that I'm really not the target audience for these shorts. They are comfortable and breathable.

My preteen loves these. She wears them on PE days & also to bed. She's confident in them that she won't have an embarrassing moment.
PERFECT! If you're on the fence, just get them! For reference: I'm 21, 5'1", between 100-110lbs, and my measurements fall perfectly into the small on the size chart. And I've got longer legs and a shorter torso, so keep that in mind, they'll fit different for everyone. But for me they fit almost PERFECT! I would love if they were a little bit lower of a rise, maybe like an inch lower(but that could just be a short torso thing) because I find anything that's not low rise uncomfortable.
But despite that, these are the most comfy shorts I've ever had!!!! I live in these. I got enough so that I'll never run out between laundry days. I genuinely where these all the time. I wear them just as is as workout shorts, I wear them as sleep shorts, under dresses, and under jeans. I basically use them as if they were underwear, too. So dual purpose I guess! they're more comfy than any pair of undies I've ever had before. and they fit me perfect! which is an absolute game changer, I'm not even joking when I say that I've basically never had anything that ACTUALLY fit me. But these feel like they were made for me, they fit so well. and they're so comfy it kinda feels like you're wearing nothing. They're super soft, they wick away sweat, they dry quickly, I've never had any leaks, or problems with it not absorbing quickly. They do sometimes roll up if I'm moving a LOT or sitting weird, but its nothing like other shorts that roll up so much you may as well just be wearing briefs.
I wear a lot of short dresses, skirts, and shorts, and I've never had a problem with them being too long and showing under.
I have had a few people comment that it looks like I'm just wearing underwear, which I can kind of see. But to me they just look like regular workout shorts, or like the nice ones that are sewn like that so they don't ride up in the most uncomfortable places. And thankfully these don't do that AT ALL!!
I was worried that the pad would feel bulky or like I was wearing a diaper(that's how regular pads feel to me), but they don't at all! I mean you can feel that its a bit thicker where the padding is, but it doesn't feel uncomfortable or bulky to me.
I've only had them for a couple months, but they're constantly getting washed and worn and they're holding up great so far. I do recommend air drying them like saalt recommends, they dry pretty quickly anyways so its not much of a hassle. I hang dry a lot of my clothes anyways. They have accidentally gotten thrown in the dryer a couple times, but they were just fine. no damage, still had great absorbency and everything. Like I said, I wouldn't recommend putting them in the dryer regularly, but if it happens by accident they should be just fine!!

Honestly I recommend even if you don't have a period. I have an IUD and my periods are basically just spotting or super light. But I wear these every day whether I need the extra protection or not. they're just that comfy!!
Sorta unrelated, but I'm autistic and struggle a lot with sensory issues, especially with clothing. So the fact that these work so well for me really says something! Everyone's different so if you have sensory issues they might not work as well for you, but I recommend giving them a shot! And if they don't work for you, refunds are pretty seamless.
TLDR: These are wonderful and if I could give them six stars I would!! I 100% recommend if these are something you're looking for. They're my holy grail, I don't know what I would do without them at this point.

Sorry the Leakproof Teen Sport Short felt a bit snug in the thigh and less stretchy than expected. This style is built for movement and security, with a stay-put silicone print inside the leg, which can make the fit feel more compressive for some. Your notes on stretch and leg opening comfort are super helpful, and we will pass them to our product team.
I am 5'3 and weigh 109 lb 30 year old woman (this is important to know because a pre-teen or teen's body is different from a woman in her 30s lol) and I measured as being a size 'medium. ' when I received them, they were 1-2 sizes too small. I had purchased a pair prior in a woman's size "extra-small' and they were one size too small at least, so I had purchased everything else afterwards in a size larger than I had originally planned. This particular pair was at least 2 sizes too small and very uncomfortable. With that being said, I was disappointed that the sizing was so far off for me having measured and used their size guide. And shipping took a bit longer than I had hoped. I honestly avoid wearing these out of all of the pairs that I purchased (and love, hence a 2 star because I do like Saalt; these just missed the mark entirely for me). This could also be my own doing for ordering a product meant for adolescents/teens.

They are very absorbent and comfortable, I felt pretty dry while wearing them. However, the sides of the crotch leaked while wearing them, everything else absorbed. I truly love everything else about these, but i don't know how to fix this issue. 🙁

This "leakproof" underwear LEAKS really bad! (Like a 3in x 5in leak after 8 hrs. ) I'd read so many reviews and found this brand apparently was the best for leaks. Maybe they were paid off to say that, I dunno. Maybe it's because I bought the teen ones, they're not as good quality? But also that seems terrible to have the teens endure what this is supposed to help them avoid. Some people had worse periods as teens than they did as adults so if anything that should be switched. But the adults are buying so. . . follow the money. You'd think they'd want the teens to be their customers for life, though. Their loss. Usually buy a small/4 in adult, but in teen sizes it was an XL I think? Fit was amazing and comfort was amazing, but that's not what I primarily bought it for. I bought it to replace pads and tampons and that's what they're supposed to do. But apparently I need to supplement with them anyway, and put ANOTHER layer of underwear after to catch the leaks before it gets to the pants. Struggled for first 3 days of period to not get leaks. So I had to handwash not only the Saalt underwear (takes forever) but one or two other pieces of clothing, and spent money on the underwear and 1-2 pads used to supplement each day. Tried to contact customer support and haven't heard for 4 days, checked thy spam and junk folders, etc. Waste of money if it doesn't replace pads and tampons and liners. I'd maybe buy 1-2 for the last couple days of my period (less difficult to clean, too).

Design is off on these. Not suited for if you struggle with Menorrhagia. This is do to absorbent area not utilizing full gusset area these shorts have. I think for these to be leak proof need larger center area rather than front to back. I order large, I am size 4 this were a bit snug on the thighs but did stretch

It may be great but my daughter couldn't get past the feeling of the seam. The stitches on the seam where the pad meets the pants was extremely uncomfortable

The fabric was not soft and stretchy, instead it was a little plastic-y. I didn't love the way the seam around my thighs cut in either.

I bought these for my daughter and she says they're very comfortable, but unfortunately she leaked through them very quickly. The gusset is nice and long, but too narrow and can't catch a flood.
