After use, rinse your Saalt Wear leakproof underwear in cold water to help avoid staining. Then, hand wash or machine wash on cold, preferably in a Saalt Mesh Laundry Bag intended for delicates. You can use detergent but pass on the fabric softener, bleach, or iron to protect the tech. Proudly hang dry—energy efficient and free. We recommend avoiding putting Saalt Wear in the dryer, as high temperatures can degrade the elastics and fabric over time.

"These are pretty comfortable, I would prefer a slightly higher rise. I was happy to get an easy exchange of size, but it is slightly frustrating to for the high rise pairs I bought to have fit in a medium and these I needed a large. I bought two and unfortunately my pink pair has started to unravel on the one leg already. Material is very soft and they are very absorbent."

"I wore it around 2 am last night and I don't have heaviest of flows yet it leaked onto my thighs and I had to wash my pants too. For a product priced at 49$ you would expect not to worry about leaking yet it did leak. And it's not just the shorts, I purchased the shorts, the high waist and brief all labeled leakproof but that's not the case for me atleast."

Not for a heavy flow

"I love Saalt and have several products but just wanted to give feedback on this style. I bought these hoping to not have to wear a tampon overnight when my flow is heavy, but they did not do the trick and they are, in fact, not leakproof. The gusset is way too skinny, especially at the section where it matters the most which leads to… you guessed it, leaks! Thankfully the cotton shorts soaked it all up so somehow my linen sheets have been spared. These are rated for a heavy flow but I cannot wear them until after the first couple days of my cycle and my flow is lighter (Then they work great! No leaks with a light flow). Which is super disappointing since they’re advertised for a heavy flow! If the design was fixed they would be perfect, every other style I have is so so good and I always recommend this brand to friends."

"So I love these. These are so comfortable and soft and cute, I cant even tell I'm wearing them. And yes they're completely leak proof. I work 48 hour shifts on an ambulance, and yes I change them every 12 hours, but my point is, if they work for me at work, they will work for you."

I am so sorry

"I was just not going to tell you because I appreciate the effort you’ve gone to make me happy but: once again the fit is off - too long gin the back (halfway up my back) and too short in the front - so it bunches at the legs. Nonetheless I wore it for a week. Hand washing it every morning and letting it dry over the tub. By the 4th day, it was stretching out so bad; by the 7th day it was unwearable. At first, it absorbed fluids and left me dry. By the 4th day the fluids just stayed on the top of the crotch and I was wet in the morning. Sigh. A complete failure. I am so glad I did not pay $49 for this. Yesterday I washed t in the machine on cold and line dried it. Maybe that will help. I feel I should publish this horrible experience I’ve had with your products, for other women’s sake. But that would hurt you. As a side note - a pair of period panties I got at Walmart for $15 the pair - work perfect."

Do not buy cotton, it leaks thru the gusset seems

"It is comfortable, the gusset is theoretically absorbent and drys fast. . . . but the seem lines in between the gusset and cotton fabric would take up blood and cause massive leakage. This happened on every pair of cotton fabric I bought. Although it works for sweat or discharge I can not use or recommend any of your underwear for period. Your gusset style is easier to clean and water drys off fast compared to others I have tried but cotton leaks blood."
